year with an English gamekeeper
The Englefield Estate is based in
the west of the county of Berkshire. It is typical of an English
estate. It has around 14,000 acres being a mixture of deciduous
woodland, old parkland, arable & dairy farms.
In this film we follow a year with Head Keeper Wavell Wilson who has
worked on this estate for over 30 years. As well as running a very
successful pheasant shoot, Wavell manages a large herd of Fallow
Deer and controls the vermin and the wild deer population. Discover
