Stag Hunting with the use of tufters to select the stag and a full pack of hounds to hunt was changed by the Hunting Act in 2005 when this traditional way of hunting was banned.
With the support of the present day masters and officials of this pack, this film has been produced capturing those memorable times covering many different hunting seasons over many years.
All footage contained in this DVD has never been seen before and it will remind us of how it used to be, including hearing the pack in full cry in the famous Exmoor coombes.
Specialist narration by Diana Scott who together with
her husband Maurice were Masters of this pack from
1987 to 2013.
